I saw The Antlers live last night at Bimbo’s. I’d never heard them before.
They were incredible. I leaned on my elbows on the stage, alternately closing my eyes and staring at the singer’s jerky movements and all-out singing. I hadn’t felt that way at a show in a really long time. My eyes teared up, my ears sort of hurt from being right next to the monitors—I didn’t care. I was in love with music again.
